What this site is

Signal & Symptoms is a weekly podcast about healthcare AI. This website shares information about the show, its hosts, guests and episodes, and lets people get in touch with the team or, if invited, prepare to appear as a guest. It is for general information only.

Our content

The show notes, summaries, transcripts, text, design, name and logo on this site belong to Signal & Symptoms or its licensors. Recordings, thumbnails and guests’ own materials belong to their owners. You are welcome to quote short extracts with credit and a link back, and to share links to any page. Please do not copy substantial parts of the site, republish transcripts, copy the site with automated tools at scale, or use our content in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product.

Opinions of speakers

Hosts and guests speak for themselves, at the time of recording. Their views are not the views of their employers or of Signal & Symptoms, and may be out of date.

We work to keep what we publish accurate, but healthcare AI changes quickly, so information may be incomplete or out of date. We give no promise that the site is free of errors or always available.

Contact forms and guest pages

Please give true details and do not send patient information, anything unlawful, abusive or misleading, or spam. Do not try to probe, overload or break into the site or other people’s pages. A guest’s personal link is for the person it was sent to. Sending a request does not guarantee a reply or an invitation, and we may decline, reschedule or not publish for any reason.

What guests give us

You confirm that what you enter on your guest page is yours to share and is accurate. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to use your name, role, organisation, short description and links to publish and promote your episode, and, if you provide a picture, to use it for episode artwork and promotion. Showing your details on our website needs your tick-box consent, and you can withdraw it by deleting your profile; episodes already published stay published. Your appearance in a recording is covered by what you agreed with the team when it was booked; these terms cover this website and your guest page.

Other people’s sites and services

Links and embedded players (for example YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Substack and LinkedIn) lead to services we do not run. They have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.

Changes to the site and these terms

We may change or stop any part of the site at any time. We may update these terms, and will change the date below when we do. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and its content are provided “as is”, and we are not liable for loss that arises from using or relying on them, or from the views of guests, hosts or other people. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
